The BEER-dot.COM Golf Tour was founded in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1999.  The original members were loosely based upon business relationships, military backgrounds and the love of golf.

The initial tour event was held in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  Subsequent events have taken place on the Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Golf Trail in Alabama;  Mesquite, Nevada; St. George, Utah; Carnoustie, Scottland; and various courses throughout Colorado.

In 2005, the “tour” was expanded to include some social conscience and elected to conduct tournaments to benefit an issue very important to our tour—our military.  Since you can’t donate money to the troops, we came up with a fantastic alternative - the AnySoldier.com organization.

The first event was held at the AppleTree Golf Course and raised $2,400.  Our second annual event was held at the Fort Carson Golf Course, Cheyenne Shadows, in Colorado Springs raised $4,200.  This event was the largest tournament of the year for Cheyenne Shadows and lauded as a great success.  Unfortunately, due to the overwhelming support—we had to turn away players as this event was SOLD-OUT!

In 2007, we return to the home of our nation’s finest soldiers—Fort Carson’s Cheyenne Shadows Golf Course.  This event is surely to be our largest tournament ever held and we look forward to the continued support from our local community and business’s at large.
